About the Role

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a Full-Time HLTA to work within a Primary School in North Somerset covering PPA from EYFS to Year 6, but to also work 1 to 1 with students.

This school is a successful, well-regarded school who aim to provide an inclusive, caring and supportive environment which has high expectations and values all members of our school community.


The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HLTA who can work on a Full-Time basis from September.

The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who can contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities, supporting the work of Teachers as a PPA cover teacher.

You will be working closely with the Teachers to deliver pre-planned lessons, across all year groups.

This role also includes supporting children on a 1 to 1 basis who need additional support with their learning.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

  • Have a real passion for working with all Primary Aged children.
  • Be able to engage children in their learning.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
  • Thrive on challenging children’s abilities.
  • Have previous teaching experience and a great knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
  • Have experience working with SEND children in the past.
