Exciting Opportunity for a Vascular Physiotherapist

Opportunity to lead on vascular therapy in the acute setting and provide specialised rehabilitation to a complex group of patients. This role would be suitable for a Band 6 with vascular experience or a Band 7 physiotherapist.

Role Overview

Highly Specialist Vascular Physiotherapist

  • Act as an autonomous practitioner to assess and treat own caseload, providing a highly specialist physiotherapy service for Vascular, Amputees and Complex Surgical rehabilitation.
  • Provide specialist assessment and management for patients with complex Vascular, respiratory, and multi-pathology surgical conditions, including acute amputee rehabilitation and pre-amputation assessment, Holistic management of critical care patients.
  • Lead on the development and delivery of physiotherapy input within Vascular, Amputees and Complex surgery.
  • Support the organisation, prioritisation, and coordination of referrals across the Vascular and Amputee pathway.
  • Provide supervision, line management, and clinical leadership to junior physiotherapists and occupational therapists, assistants, and students.
  • Contribute to service development, clinical audit, quality improvement and research.
  • Participate in the 7-day working rota and respiratory on-call service.
