Band 7 - £55,524 - £62,652 Inclusive of HCAS

Full time & Part Time hours considered Between 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week

Bromley Children's Occupational Therapy Service are excited to be expanding and transforming improving our offer to children and young people across the Borough!

We are looking for Highly Specialist Occupational Therapists to join our growing team to provide clinical expertise and leadership across a number of clinical pathways.

Bromley Healthcare promotes flexible working, so we have opportunities to work full, part time or as part of a job share arrangement.

You will be provided the support and supervision from experienced clinicians, work as part of our wider multi-disciplinary team, and developed with internal and external training programmes to develop your clinical and leadership skills.

About the Role

The Children`s Occupational Therapy Service provides high-quality occupational therapy to children and young people 0-18 years old, with difficulties in play, self-care and/or school occupations due to a variety of conditions. Occupational Therapists within the service work autonomously, seeing children in a variety of community healthcare and educational settings including clients’ homes, clinics, schools, nurseries and specialist educational settings. Children and young people referred to the service may have multiple and complex conditions.

Responsibilities

As an experienced practitioner, the Highly Specialist Children`s Occupational Therapist will manage a team of occupational therapists while also holding a complex clinical caseload of specialist cases.

The Highly Specialist Children`s Occupational Therapist will provide leadership and line management within the service, including recruitment and retention, appraisal and performance/ absence management.

Compensation is contingent upon NHS experience and current banding/pay point.
