About the Role
We are seeking a talented, passionate and committed Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our friendly and ambitious multidisciplinary Community Eating Disorders Service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering specialist psychological care and supporting the implementation of our First Episode Rapid Early Intervention for Eating Disorders (FREED) pathway. Alongside managing a varied clinical caseload, you will contribute to supervision, training and service development, helping to support trainee psychologists and junior colleagues. The post offers an excellent opportunity for a psychologist looking to consolidate specialist expertise in eating disorders while developing leadership skills within a highly supportive team committed to innovation, collaboration and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist assessment and evidence-based psychological treatment for individuals experiencing eating disorders.
- Work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and across different age groups, demonstrating a commitment to equity, inclusion and improving access to services for all.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit and research activities to help shape and enhance the care we provide.
- Offer supervision, training and consultation to colleagues within and beyond the service, promoting psychological understanding of eating disorders and supporting the development of clinical skills across teams.
- Be a collaborative, compassionate and motivated psychologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and contributing to a thriving multidisciplinary service.
