An exciting opportunity to join the Oxleas Adult Autism Service
We seek to appoint a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to be part of our adult diagnostic assessment pathway.
This is a full-time and permanent position.
About the Role
The emphasis of the role will be to complete highly specialist diagnostic assessments of Autism Spectrum Disorder across the whole trust (covering Bromley, Bexley & Greenwich) for adults without learning disability.
Responsibilities
- Good knowledge of the wide spectrum of mental health and psychiatric comorbidities and how these present in autistic people.
- Equally, complete complex differential diagnosis between autism and other psychiatric conditions.

- Care for people with learning disabilities.
- Mental health care such as psychiatry, nursing, and therapies.

We manage hospital sites including Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and Memorial Hospital, Woolwich, as well as the Bracton Centre, our medium secure unit for people with mental health needs. We are the largest NHS provider of prison health services providing healthcare to prisons within Devon, Dorset, Bristol, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Kent, and South London.
