Job Title

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated speech and language therapist to help us support children and young people in a range of settings across Essex.

Role Description

This Band 7 role involves co-ordinating, supporting and delivering a high quality, evidence-based service in a range of settings, predominantly within the clinical fields of complex needs and AAC. There are also opportunities to supervise and manage therapists, developing their skills, as well as therapy assistants.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead on service delivery in designated settings
  • To hold a highly specialist clinical caseload within these schools
  • To supervise and line manage therapists and assistants
  • To contribute to the planning and service delivery of the Therapies service
  • To work as part of the Speech and Language Therapy team, as well as the wider multi-disciplinary SEND Therapies team
