About the Role
We are delighted to be recruiting for this role as one of our long-standing and highly valued team members prepares for retirement. This presents a unique opportunity to join an established, supportive team and build upon a strong foundation of excellent work and commitment.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Systemic Psychotherapist with supervisory experience to be part of the Trust wide Adult Mental Health Family & Couple Therapy Service based at the Prudence Skynner Clinic, and to develop skills in a range of clinical, supervisory, teaching and consultation settings.
The team has a strong commitment to developing innovative treatment to work with families and couples in an adult mental health setting. The clinic is based in an inner London borough, and we work with a diverse group of families of different cultures and faiths.
The service has a long tradition of delivering systemic psychotherapy training and practice, both within the Trust and externally. We provide systemic training opportunities for a range of professionals in all mental health disciplines, including qualifying level Systemic Psychotherapy trainees. In addition, the team offers supervision to Systemic Family Psychotherapists and consults to multiple teams and agencies in and outside of the Trust.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
