In a typical day you might be;

  • Maintaining our streetlighting infrastructure, including streetlights, illuminated signs and subways, carrying out lamp changes, visual inspections and testing.
  • Working alongside teams responsible for electrical connections and installations for new streetlighting infrastructure.
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis, repairs and maintenance to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Operating mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) safely and effectively where required.
  • Providing an excellent level of service to our clients, customers and members of the public, representing Enerveo professionally at all times.
  • Working in accordance with strict health, safety and environmental standards, policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Following safe systems of work and ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, clients and other contractors to ensure works are delivered on time and with minimal disruption.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
