Highways Operative

Salary: Competitive

Location: Bargeddie (Fixed Location)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain vehicles, including HGVs and small plant machinery, ensuring all checks and routing maintenance are completed.
  • Engage in construction and highways maintenance works, contributing your expertise to various projects.
  • Participate in winter and summer standby duties, including emergency callouts.
  • Maintain accurate records of Drivers' hours and relevant paperwork as required.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Possess and maintain important qualifications including a valid HGV license (Class 2 preferred) and Drivers CPC card, as well as an NRSWA card.
