Hilti Store Lead Belfast – Make Construction Better!

At Hilti Ireland, we’re growing fast—and we’re proud of it! Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Store Lead for our Hilti Store in Duncrue Road, Belfast.

This face-to-face sales role offers the successful candidate to join an award-winning multi-national and to lay the foundations of a highly successful and dynamic career. You will work Monday to Friday only and be responsible for a very consultative sales approach, maximising sales opportunities and being responsible for careful stock control. You will work closely with the field-based sales team, our tool repair workshops and our Customer and Credit Services teams in order to provide our customers with outstanding service and deliver great results.

We don’t expect you to be a construction expert. For us, it’s about the right person; the right person is passionate, curious, dedicated and collaborative – our training will cover the rest!

What You'll Do

This is no ordinary retail sales job; we are not about transactional business and quick wins, we focus on building and maintaining lasting relationships with our customers. You will also be responsible for:

  • Individual customer service and consultation, including hands-on demonstrations of all the products and services within our range
  • Implementing marketing campaigns with support from the marketing and branding teams
  • Execution and coordination of all processes, e.g. order entry, incoming goods, acceptance of repairs, inventory and cash management
  • Developing existing customer relationships by ensuring you are in regular contact with them by phone
  • Establishing new relationships, using your excellent social and customer service skills

Unusually within retail, the store is only open Monday to Friday, allowing you the chance to develop further in your retail career without the need to work weekends.

What makes this role special?

  • Purpose-Driven Work: You’ll help customers solve real-world challenges and improve productivity and how they work.
  • Inclusive Culture: We celebrate different perspectives and backgrounds. You’ll be joining a team where your voice is heard and valued.
  • Career Growth: Over 80% of our roles are filled internally. We invest in your development from day one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
