Company Overview
Our client is an established and respected orthopaedic medical device manufacturer, known for its high-quality hip and knee implant solutions.
They are currently expanding their UK commercial team and are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth and manage key accounts across the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Driving sales growth across the hip and knee orthopaedic portfolio within the assigned territory.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital procurement stakeholders.
- Providing expert clinical support and case coverage within the operating theatre environment.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across both NHS and private sector hospitals.
- Managing commercial activities including tender submissions, pricing negotiations, and strategic account planning.
- Collaborating with clinical specialists to support customer education and training initiatives.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention through excellent service.

Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
We are seeking candidates with:
- Proven sales experience gained within the orthopaedic implants sector or a similar surgical device field.
- Confidence and demonstrable experience working within a hospital operating theatre environment.
- Strong commercial awareness of the NHS and private healthcare procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with an ability to engage clinical and commercial stakeholders.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven approach to territory management.
Desirable Experience
- Specific clinical or sales knowledge of hip and knee arthroplasty procedures.
- Experience managing hospital tenders from submission through to award.

Package
- Base salary: £45,000 - £65,000
- Bonus: £20,000 uncapped bonus
- Benefits: £7,000 annual car allowance
- Location: Birmingham & West Midlands (Field-Based)
- Travel requirements: Extensive travel required across the territory
