As a Hire Controller at Wernick Power Solutions in Widnes, you'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service from our Hire Desk. You’ll orchestrate seamless operations by coordinating with various departments and Group companies, ensuring efficient workflows and supporting your colleagues. About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer quotations and equipment hire contracts, ensuring accurate processing.
- Efficiently handle equipment on/off hires and maintain meticulous records.
- Champion customer satisfaction, collaborating with departments for seamless service delivery.
- Provide practical problem-solving support and uphold robust administrative standards.
- Demonstrate exemplary telephone etiquette and actively contribute to a productive team.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in a service-related role, adept at managing telephone inquiries.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet navigation.
- Solid literacy and numeracy, with accurate data input capabilities.
- A customer-focused, commercially aware mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and work independently, building effective relationships.

Required Criteria
- Numerate
- Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Experience handling telephone inquiries in a service-related industry.
- Proficiency in basic IT skills, including Word, Excel, email, and internet usage.
- Literate and numerate, capable of data input and interpretation.
Desired Criteria
- Experience in the Hire industry in a similar role
