NOW HIRING – HIRE DESK ASSISTANT
📍 Liverpool or Manchester Depot
Are you a great communicator with strong organisational skills?
We’re looking for a Hire Desk Assistant to join our team at John Sutch Cranes, one of the UK’s leading mobile crane specialists.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, customer-facing role at the heart of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming hire enquiries (phone/email)
- Schedule crane hire jobs and support daily logistics
- Liaise with clients, drivers, and crane operators
- Maintain accurate hire records using our in-house system
- Deliver excellent customer service at every step

What We’re Looking For
- Organised and confident with excellent communication skills
- IT literate (Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge a bonus)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Previous experience in a hire desk or transport role is desirable, but not essential
