Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm (Office Based)
Salary: £32,(Apply online only) – £34,(Apply online only)+ per annum

The Opportunity
We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity within the heart of our Hire team at our Alton headquarters. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a customer-first mindset and a drive to make a real impact on day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in ensuring our hire fleet is managed efficiently, supporting customers throughout their hire journey and helping deliver a seamless, on-time service across the business. We are looking for someone with strong life experience, confidence, and the ability to take ownership of customer outcomes within a fast paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to all hire desk enquiries promptly and professionally
- Support customers throughout the full hire journey, providing excellent service
- Coordinate orders to ensure delivery is on time and in full
- Liaise effectively with Transport, Yard and Operations teams to maintain smooth workflows
- Schedule large deliveries and manage site bookings efficiently
- Process off-hire requests and coordinate returns accurately
- Handle goods-in processes following depot inspections
- Monitor and follow up on free-of-charge (FOC) hires
- Provide accurate updates on stock availability and lead times
- Resolve queries across customers, warehouse, yard and transport teams promptly
- Identify and suggest opportunities to enhance the customer experience

Person Specification
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
