Location: Travis Perkins Group Hire, Oldbury, B69 4NQ
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 5pm (No weekend working or late evenings, overnights, or bank holidays)

What will you be doing?
Safety and reliability are at the heart of everything we do. As our Hire Service Engineer, you will:
- Maintain & Repair: Inspect, test, service, and repair a wide range of hire tools and equipment (electrical, petrol, and diesel).
- Keep Kit Safe: Ensure all equipment meets safety standards, passes compliance checks, and is ready for customer hire.
- Support the Branch Network: Be the go-to technical expert for local branches, giving helpful advice on tool maintenance and suitable alternatives for customers.
- Maintain Standards: Complete safety audits, keep accurate service records, and help maintain a clean, organised workshop.

What are we looking for?
- Technical Mindset: Experience in the plant/tool hire industry or a background working with electrical, petrol, or diesel tools is ideal, but not essential.
- Transferable Skills: If you are a mechanic, electrician, engineer, or hands-on handyman with great problem-solving skills, we want to hear from you!
- Safety First: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to keeping safety standards high.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and the confidence to communicate well with colleagues and customers.
