Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site work at attractions and some flexibility to work from home. The role is specifically aimed at individuals who have previously worked for Merlin Entertainments and are looking to bring that experience into a new, ambitious startup environment. - Helping to design and refine guest experience standards
- Advising on operations and safety practices
- Supporting the development of new attractions or themed concepts

You may be involved in creating and improving processes around staffing, guest flow, queue management, and on-the-ground team coordination. The role can also include:
- Collaborating with leadership on best practices from large-scale attractions
- Contributing to staff training
- Supporting marketing or guest communications initiatives as needed
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that KYS Limited’s attractions deliver consistent, high-quality experiences that reflect industry-leading standards.
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience working for Merlin Entertainments or a comparable major attractions/theme park operator.
- Strong background in attractions or theme park operations, such as guest services, ride operations, retail, food and beverage, or entertainment.
- Experience with health, safety, and compliance procedures within a theme park or attractions environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving startup setting, with the ability to adapt and contribute to new processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed, including some weekends, holidays, or peak seasons, in line with UK employment regulations.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to commute to Sefton and other sites as required.
- Experience training or mentoring staff in an attractions environment is highly beneficial.
- Formal qualifications in hospitality, leisure, tourism, or a related field are advantageous but not essential; equivalent experience is valued.
