Role Description

This is a full-time, remote Fractional CFO (UK) role responsible for overseeing and guiding the financial strategy for Express Turbo Delivery’s UK-related operations and expansion plans. The role involves developing and maintaining financial models, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and advising on capital allocation and investment decisions. The Fractional CFO will review and interpret financial statements, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic and operational decisions. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with leadership on pricing strategies, cash flow management, and profitability analysis, as well as strengthening financial controls and compliance with relevant UK financial regulations. The role also requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with logistics, operations, and business development initiatives.

  • Strong finance and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial planning and financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements in a UK or international context.
  • Background in corporate finance or financial management within logistics, e-commerce, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in working remotely with distributed teams and managing stakeholders at different levels.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, or a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
