Job Summary

Are you a highly motivated, talented sales rep who's tired of capped commission? Do you want to sell something you actually believe in? OrderUp is a Scottish-owned, Glasgow-built food ordering platform on a mission to put local food back in local hands. We believe the independent restaurants and takeaways that make this city what it is shouldn't have to hand over a huge slice of every order to a global app, so we built a fairer platform with simple, transparent pricing, marketing that helps owners bring their own regulars with them, and onboarding that gets a business live and taking orders within 48 hours of checks completing. We're now launching across Glasgow's West End and seeking dynamic Sales Representatives to be the face of that mission on the doorstep, signing the businesses that will grow with us, street by street.

This is a commission-only, uncapped role with the potential to earn £52,000 to £72,000+ a year for driven, consistent closers. Your earnings reflect your work rate, and there's no ceiling. If you're eager to make an impact, help local businesses thrive, and be paid days, not months, after every signing, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Bring your drive and your closing ability and we'll handle everything after the signature!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with independent restaurant and takeaway owners face to face across your own exclusive West End patch (Finnieston, Byres Road or Partick) to generate new business.
  • Conduct B2B sales by demonstrating the OrderUp restaurant portal live on your phone or tablet and presenting a simple comparison sheet that addresses each owner's needs.
  • Close deals on the spot under your personal rep code, maintaining a positive experience that keeps the door open on every street.
  • Manage your own pipeline of prospects. Commission tracking is automatic through the portal, so your admin is close to zero.
  • Offer tailored answers to owner objections on rates, onboarding and demand, with a direct WhatsApp line to the founder for instant support.
  • Drive your own schedule, prioritising the golden knocking window between lunch and dinner service (roughly 2:30 to 5pm) when owners are actually reachable.
  • Share what's working on the doors with the founder and the rest of the team to sharpen the pitch for everyone.

Skills

  • Proven field sales experience REQUIRED: either POS / card terminal / EPOS sales (including Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats onboarding), or door to door field sales in the Glasgow area.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence independent business owners confidently on their own premises.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear and persuasive doorstep interactions.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and trust quickly in B2B environments with a focus on relationship building.
  • Comfortable walking in cold, handling objections, and closing on the spot.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills to work a street-level territory efficiently and self-manage your day without supervision.
  • Resilience and motivation to stay sharp in a fast-paced, results-paid environment. This is a numbers game, and you know it.
  • Based in, or able to work daily in, Glasgow's West End.
