English 1 is hiring motivated graduates, career changers, and entry-level professionals for full-time English teaching jobs in China. No previous teaching experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, teaching materials, ongoing support, and visa sponsorship.

This is more than an ESL teaching job. You'll learn and actively apply transferable professional skills in communication, presentation, creativity, customer engagement, planning, organization, problem-solving, digital tools, and relationship management. These skills can be applied directly to future careers in education, marketing, sales, customer service, administration, communications, professional services, and technology.

What you'll do

  • Teach English to young learners aged 3–16 in an engaging, supportive classroom.
  • Deliver interactive lessons using our curriculum and digital learning tools.
  • Plan and organize creative lessons and activities, applying time management, organization, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adapt activities to different learners and apply communication, presentation, and creative skills to explain ideas clearly.
  • Use creative arts, storytelling, music, drama, visual activities, crafts, or other creative approaches to make English learning engaging and memorable.
  • Provide feedback and build positive relationships with students and parents, developing customer engagement and relationship-management skills.
  • Participate in school events, student engagement, and cultural activities, applying creativity, communication, and teamwork.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and develop teamwork, leadership, and professional communication skills.

Who we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • Valid passport
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Interest in education, travel, international work, communication, creativity, or working with people
  • Creative arts experience or a background in art, music, drama, theatre, dance, design, performance, storytelling, crafts, or other creative disciplines is a plus
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, adaptability, and willingness to learn
  • Interest in developing a career in teaching, marketing, sales, customer service, administration, communications, creative industries, or other professional fields
  • TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA is a plus
  • Clean background check

No previous teaching experience required. Graduates, recent graduates, career changers, and candidates looking for their first professional job are encouraged to apply.
