Are you an analytical, detail-focused professional with investigative experience and a passion for maintaining high standards of compliance? We are seeking a Historic Exhibits Review Officer to join our Archive & Exhibits team at Nottinghamshire Police.
🚀 What you'll do
- Review, retain and dispose of historic archive and exhibit materials in line with legislation, national guidance and Force policies.
- Research, analyse and assess historic police information and exhibits, making informed decisions regarding retention or disposal.
- Maintain comprehensive audit trails and records to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Identify items suitable for auction, donation or organisational reuse and support associated processes.
- Produce reports and management information to support operational performance and compliance monitoring.
- Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures and improvement initiatives.
- Provide advice and guidance to officers and staff on archive and exhibit review processes.
- Help safeguard the integrity, continuity and security of evidence and information assets.

💡 What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in an investigatory role or undertaking detailed review and assessment work.
- Experience handling sensitive, confidential or high-value materials and information.
- Strong research and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to make sound decisions and maintain accurate records and audit trails.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (or equivalent experience).
