About the Role

A History Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School and Sixth Form in South London.

This History Teacher position will be full-time and short term, temporary in the first instance.

Teaching for this History Teacher post will be for mostly KS3 to KS4 classes.

The rates of pay for this History Teacher role will be between GBP150 and GBP250 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A Good Coeducational School and Sixth Form for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, located in the London Borough of Croydon.

The school is considered an Art and Enterprise Specialist, with the approach of making pupils Art orientated.

There is a strong focus on preparing pupils for employment in the 21st Century as well.

The school benefits from excellent facilities; 12 laboratories, an ICT suite and a talented team of technicians.

Strong STEM links and a growing interest in promoting Maths-based careers also form key elements to the school's ethos/reputation.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're a recently qualified History Teacher or experienced History Teacher.

You're also welcome if you're a British trained History Teacher or overseas trained History Teacher.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a History Teacher:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a History Teacher in UK schools
