Test Technician - Electrification and Battery Testing

We are seeking a test technician to join our Electrification and Battery Testing team. In this role, you will:

  • Prepare customer (EV battery) product for testing within the BAT (Battery Abuse Test) facility.
  • Assist engineers in setting up the test equipment, instrument the product and perform the test.
  • Carry out pre & post-test safety checks on product and equipment and complete safety documentation.

If you are passionate about advancing electric vehicle technology and have a strong background in battery testing, this opportunity is for you. NOTE: outdoor working year-round

Job Details

  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: Up to £22 p/hr inclusive of holiday pay
  • Hours: 39 hours a week
  • Shifts: Some shift working/overtime maybe required - an allowance will be paid accordingly in line with agency worker regulations

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Hands-on mechanical/electrical aptitude, careful working style, and a strong safety mindset.
  • Full UK Driving licence required
  • Use of Microsoft Office
