Case Administrator

Salary: £28,046.52

Company Overview

Mitie Care & Custody (C&C) aims to transform HMP Millsike into a place of restoration and rehabilitation. Our vision is to create an environment that empowers prisoners to unlock their full potential, make positive changes, and re-enter society with hope and purpose.

Job Objectives and Responsibilities

This role is based within the Offender Management Unit (OMU) at HMP Millsike, handling various aspects of a prisoner's case, such as risk management, parole applications, and sentence planning. You will provide administrative support within the OMU, working alongside probation and prison colleagues.

The OMU is a dynamic department that interacts with internal and external agencies, including local courts, police, and probation. The role offers opportunities for learning and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support within the OMU.
  • Handle tasks related to the Offender Assessment System (OASys), Release on Temporary Licence (RoTL), bail and BASS applications, and Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA).
  • Assist in re-categorization of prisoners, sentence calculations, recall paperwork, and public protection matters.
  • Manage documentation related to the transfer and release of prisoners, including organizing resettlement boards and processing parole applications.
  • Maintain accurate records and data in accordance with established standards and policies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
