October Half-Term | Andover, SP10
📍 St John the Baptist Primary School, Andover, SP10 3PF
💷 Up to £12.71 per hour + holiday pay
📅 Casual Holiday Club Contract
⏰ Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
🍁 Dates: Monday 26 October – Friday 30 October 2026

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Holiday Club Playworker / Activity Leader to join our team in Andover this October half-term.
You’ll help create a fun, safe and inclusive environment where children can enjoy their school holidays through games, sports, creative activities and plenty of adventures! 🎨⚽🌈
Whether you already have childcare experience or simply have a real passion for working with children, we’d love to hear from you!
🎨 WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a JAG Playworker, you’ll help make every day exciting and memorable for the children in our care.
Your role will include:
⚽ Planning and delivering fun activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts and structured play
🌈 Creating a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment
💛 Supporting children throughout the day, from arrival through to collection

🛡️ Following safeguarding, health & safety and company procedures
📝 Managing sign-in and sign-out procedures
🍎 Preparing and providing refreshments while maintaining good hygiene standards
🧩 Setting up and packing away activities, play spaces and equipment
📋 Completing relevant accident and incident documentation when required
🤝 Building positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues and the school
😊 Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging children to get involved and have fun

We’re looking for someone who is:

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
This role could suit someone with experience as a Playworker, Childcare Assistant, Activity Leader, Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker or in a similar role.

This role is subject to safeguarding requirements in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Applicants must:

- Undergo an Enhanced DBS check
