About the Job
We are seeking Home Activity Video Contributors / Egocentric Video Capture to participate in an innovative data collection project. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home on your own schedule, recording everyday household activities using specialized camera equipment provided by our team.
Get paid to record your hands doing normal activities around your home using a camera that we provide. All required camera equipment is provided to approved contributors. You will receive instructions on how to connect the camera to the app and upload your videos. You are paid for video hours that are reviewed and approved. There is also an opportunity to earn a higher hourly rate when you complete 20 or more approved video hours in a week. Furthermore, contributors who complete 20 or more approved video hours within a week will be eligible for an additional hourly bonus, based on their market.

Qualification:
- No degree or previous experience is required.
- 18 years or older.
- Comfortable using a smartphone and simple camera equipment.
- Able to follow basic instructions.
- Comfortable recording activities inside your home.
- Reliable and able to submit videos regularly.
- Willing to take care of the camera equipment provided to you.

Responsibilities
- Wear or use the provided camera while doing everyday household activities.
- Record short videos, usually 10–15 minutes at a time.
- Follow simple instructions for each activity.
- Upload your videos through an app.
- Make sure your videos are clear and follow the instructions.
- Complete as many approved hours as you choose each week.
- You are paid based on the number of approved video hours you complete.

Examples of Activities
You may be asked to record your hands while:
- Making breakfast, coffee, or tea.
- Eating a meal and cleaning up.
- Washing dishes and wiping kitchen counters.
- Doing laundry and folding clothes.
- Organizing a closet or drawers.
- Vacuuming, mopping, or dusting.
- Cleaning your kitchen or bathroom.
- Taking out the trash.
These are normal household activities—you do not need any special skills or experience. The project instructions specify that activities should be natural and unscripted rather than acted or rushed.
Salary & Benefits
- Pay: Hourly, $10.00–10.00
- Bonus: Hourly, $2.00–2.00
