Job Title: Home Adaptation Surveyor
Employer: Wyre Forest District Council

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Home Adaptation Surveyor to join our Worcestershire Home Adaptations service. In this role, you will design and plan large-scale adaptation works for customers living with disabilities and long-term health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting customers to live independently in their own home or continue to live with the assistance of carers.
- Designing and planning the necessary space and adaptations recommended by healthcare professionals.
- Working closely alongside Occupational Therapists, local authorities, Registered Providers, and other external organizations such as contractors.

Role Requirements:
- Flexible approach with the ability to visit customer properties throughout Worcestershire.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work through challenges and problem-solve to successfully complete projects.
- Qualification in Building and Construction or equivalent.
Additional Information:
- You will be required to provide a suitable vehicle for this post.
- The job includes duties that may require an element of physical exertion and mobility on an occasional or frequent basis.
- The post is open to hybrid working.
