Description
Imagine starting your day with a smile and a kind word that brightens someone’s day. As our Home Administrator you’ll do this as you’ll very much be the hub of the home. You’ll play a crucial role in managing administrative systems and processes to perfection to help our Registered Manager effectively run our care home. Whether you’re maintaining financial records and preparing reports or administering the Time & Attendance system and processing payroll and HR information - you’ll always have our residents wellbeing in mind above all else.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team that works together to make our home feel warm and our residents comfortable and safe. It’s not just about providing care it’s about creating moments of joy, dignity, and connection. You’ll help write the small, meaningful chapters in someone’s story, and in return, you’ll be part of a community that values and supports you too. Please note, that all our roles are subject to an enhanced police check (Disclosure Barring Service – DBS) before employment commences.
What you will do in this Splendid role
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Registered Manager, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently and effectively
- Provide a friendly and helpful Reception to all visitors ensuring they receive a warm and friendly welcome
- Record enquiries and show arounds of the home for prospective families
- Prepare resident contracts
- Act as a seamless administrative link to our Head Office, facilitating smooth communication and coordination
- Prepare payroll and time and attendance data for monthly submissions
- Ensure resident and staffing compliance with all relevant regulations and standards at all times.
- Attend meetings and produce accurate notes and minutes
- Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts
