Job Description

Home Care Assistant / Care Assistant (Drivers Wanted) to support clients in and around Loughborough, Coalville, Shepshed, Mountsorrel, Quorn, Sileby, Barrow & Surrounding Villages

£13.00–£14.00 per hour | Paid Mileage | Flexible Hours | Full Training Provided

No previous care experience? No problem.

If you're kind, compassionate and reliable, we'll provide all the training and ongoing support you need to become an outstanding Care Professional. As a Home Care Assistant, Care Assistant or Domiciliary Care Worker, you'll visit clients in their own homes to provide person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Your role may include:

  • Providing companionship and meaningful conversation.
  • Supporting with personal care.
  • Preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
  • Assisting with medication.
  • Helping with shopping and appointments.
  • Light household duties.
  • Supporting clients to access their local community.
  • Encouraging independence and confidence.
  • Building lasting relationships with regular clients.

You'll be a great fit if you are:

Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Carer, Healthcare Assistant, Community Care Assistant, Domiciliary Care Worker or Support Worker is welcomed but not essential, as full training is provided. Many of our best Care Professionals joined us from retail, hospitality, customer service, administration, childcare and other customer-facing roles.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own reliable vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • A caring, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
