Home Instead serves the following communities:

  • South Norfolk: Thetford, Brandon, Attleborough, Long Stratton, East Harling, Old Buckenham
  • East Suffolk: Southwold, Leiston, Aldeburgh, Saxmundham, Framlingham, Halesworth, Bungay, Harleston and surrounding areas

About the Role

We are recruiting Home Care Assistants for a variety of care visits. This dynamic role requires flexibility, reliability, and access to your own transportation.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Ensuring 1-hour minimum visits to provide high-quality, person-centred care
  • Client matching to create meaningful support relationships
  • Varied duties such as companionship, light housework, meal preparation, personal care, and accompanying clients to appointments or shopping

Responsibilities

As a Care Professional & Home Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Companionship

    • Providing regular, meaningful social interaction for clients
  • Supporting Everyday Tasks

    • Assisting with meal preparation and light housework
    • Help with ergonomy and organisation tasks
  • Assisting with Outings & Appointments

    • Accompanying clients to shopping or medical appointments
  • Personal Care Support

    • Assisting with essential activities such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
    • Helping maintain clients’ health and independence

Benefits

    • £13.50 per hour (weekdays) – guaranteed minimum
    • £14.00 per hour (weekends)
    • Enhanced bank holiday pay: £20.25 per hour
