Job Description About Home Instead Charnwood Home Instead is one of the world’s leading home care providers, dedicated to supporting older adults to live independently, safely, and happily in their own homes. Role Purpose To provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their own homes, supporting them with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and maintaining independence. This role will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and engaged in their communities. We are specifically looking for Care Professionals, Care Assistants, Carers & Domiciliary Care Workers in the Wider Loughborough area to support clients around Charnwood. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting) and daily living activities Provide companionship and emotional support Support clients with mobility, medication prompts, and light household tasks Follow care plans and communicate any changes in clients’ needs to the office Maintain accurate records and complete any required documentation (e.g., visit notes, incident forms) Work safely and adhere to all company policies, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures Attend training sessions, refresher courses, and meetings as required Availability: The ideal candidates we are looking for are those with availability to support with: Morning Visits (Starting from 8:00am) paid at £13 per hour Evening Visits (Finishing at 10:00pm) paid at £14 per hour Weekend Visits paid at £14 per hour Requirements A caring and compassionate nature Must be based in Charnwood or surrounding areas, with your own vehicle for travel to clients with the ability to get Business Motor Insurance (Mileage paid starting at 35p per mile!)
