What You Need to Know

In this role, there is no such thing as a typical service user or a typical day.

Every person you care for is an individual with their own needs, preferences and personality, and the support you provide will be tailored to meet those needs.

Your main responsibilities may include:

  • Providing personal care
  • Supporting with or administering medication in line with care plans and training
  • Completing shopping calls
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Promoting dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing
  • Following individual care plans and reporting any concerns appropriately

Working Hours

Part-time shifts: 7:00am–5:00pm

This position is for an average of 25 hours per week and follows a set two-week rolling shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Friday and Sunday
  • Week 2: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

What We Need from You

You must:

  • Be caring, empathetic, respectful and flexible
  • Be reliable and committed to delivering high-quality care
  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Be willing to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
  • Be willing to complete all required pre-employment checks
