Job Description
Join our team as a home carer in North Lanarkshire.
Location: North Lanarkshire (Airdrie, Bellshill, Coatbridge, Motherwell, Cumbernauld, and surrounding areas)
Salary: Competitive hourly rate.
Contract: Full-time, part-time, and relief positions available
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.

The Role
As a home carer with Ment Care Services, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly and vulnerable individuals in your local community. Your work will directly enhance our clients' quality of life by addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs. This is more than a job; it is an opportunity to make a real, meaningful difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will vary and be tailored to each client's individual care plan. A typical day might include:

- Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Medication Support: Prompting and administering medication in line with prescribed guidelines.
- Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements.
- Household Duties: Light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Companionship: Engaging clients in social activities and conversation to promote mental well-being.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in a client's condition.

Essential Qualities:
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including some weekends and evenings.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience in a care role.
- A qualification in health and social care (e.g., SVQ).
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
