Salary - £57,700 plus benefits
At the heart of our Home Delivery Network, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive an outstanding delivery experience every time. Leading the day-to-day operation of a busy home delivery depot, you'll be responsible for creating a safe, compliant and high-performing environment where colleagues can thrive and deliver exceptional service.
Working closely with Distribution Centres, suppliers, logistics partners and depot teams across the network, you'll lead operational performance, champion colleague engagement and drive continuous improvement. You'll take ownership of health and safety standards, transport compliance, service delivery, people development and budget management, ensuring the depot operates safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.

What you'll be doing
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the Home Delivery Depot, ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-focused environment.
- Ensuring full compliance with Operator Licence requirements, transport legislation and vehicle roadworthiness standards.
- Championing health and safety best practice, creating a culture where the wellbeing of colleagues is always the top priority.
- Putting the customer at the heart of every decision, driving service excellence and improving customer satisfaction scores.
- Leading, coaching and developing depot colleagues, helping them achieve their potential and build successful careers.
- Driving colleague engagement through regular communication, performance reviews and meaningful development conversations.
- Promoting a high-performance culture that reflects our business values and behaviours, with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Managing depot performance against operational targets and budgets, identifying opportunities to improve service, productivity and cost efficiency.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively to deliver shared objectives.
- Operating with pace, energy and a sense of urgency to ensure outstanding results for customers, colleagues and the business.
- Maintaining a valid Transport Manager CPC qualification and keeping professional knowledge up to date through ongoing development.
