Job Description

To provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their own homes, supporting them with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and maintaining independence. This role will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and engaged in their communities. We are specifically looking for Care Professionals, Care Assistants, Carers & Domiciliary Care Workers in the Loughborough area to support clients around Charnwood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting) and daily living activities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Support clients with mobility, medication prompts, and light household tasks
  • Follow care plans and communicate any changes in clients’ needs to the office
  • Maintain accurate records and complete any required documentation (e.g., visit notes, incident forms)
  • Work safely and adhere to all company policies, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures
  • Attend training sessions, refresher courses, and meetings as required

Requirements

  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Must be based in Charnwood or surrounding areas, with your own vehicle for travel to clients with the ability to get Business Motor Insurance
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Willingness to undertake the in house Home Instead training provided
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients
  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
