Amberwood House, Ferndown, BH22 9AX

Circa £80,000 per annum plus bonus

  • 40 hours per week, to include working across 7 days per week at varied start and finish times. On-call duties shared with the home’s management team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll also have plenty of scope to build community relationships, develop the home’s local profile and identify marketing opportunities. Our customer service and marketing teams will support you in promoting the home.

What can you bring?

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant care home management experience, including experience in a care setting for older people
  • A strong track record of performance in line with CQC standards and expectations
  • A good understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of running a care home
  • An interest in marketing, community engagement and maintaining occupancy
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

A nursing qualification would be an advantage but is not essential, as you will be supported by an experienced Clinical Lead. A Level 5 Diploma or NVQ in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification, is also desirable.

As the role involves travel during working hours, you must have access to a suitable vehicle, a full UK driving licence, and motor insurance covering business use.

You’ll share our values and be friendly, kind, honest and reassuring. Above all, you’ll share our commitment to delivering excellent person-centred care for every resident.
