Nursing Home Manager East Sussex | Full-time, 40 hours per week

£75,000 - £80,000, quarterly bonus and benefits

Are you a clinically strong Nursing Home Manager looking for a role where you can lead a quality-focused service and make a lasting difference?

This is an opportunity to manage a highly regarded 60+ bed nursing home in East Sussex. The home has an excellent reputation for resident care, reflected in its Good CQC rating and outstanding feedback from residents and families.

As Home Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the home's operational and clinical performance. You'll provide strong day-to-day leadership, promote a positive culture and ensure the service continues to deliver excellent outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the nursing, care and wider home team
  • Maintaining compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical governance requirements
  • Ensuring care plans are person-centred, regularly reviewed and effectively delivered
  • Managing staffing, recruitment, rotas and employee development
  • Monitoring budgets, occupancy and resources to support sustainable home performance
  • Building productive relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners and healthcare professionals
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen quality, resident experience and team engagement

What you'll bring

We're looking for an experienced care leader with the confidence and clinical knowledge to manage a busy nursing home.

You'll need:

  • An active NMC PIN
  • Previous Home Manager or senior management experience in a nursing home, elderly care or similar setting
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team
  • Commercial awareness and confidence managing staffing and operational budgets
  • A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care
