Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Alongside this, you will take responsibility for governance, budgets and workforce planning, using quality, occupancy and staffing data to make informed decisions. You will develop a stable team, minimise reliance on agency and prepare the home for its first CQC inspection, embedding good practice in everyday care.

About You

You will be a proven Home Manager with credible experience of leading sizeable care homes towards full occupancy, achieving strong inspection outcomes and building stable teams. Experience of premium care and the self-funding market is important, together with commissioning experience and a track record of CQC registration and achieving Good or Outstanding ratings in previous services.

You will understand nursing, residential and dementia care and bring a quality-minded approach to commercial leadership. Confident with IT and data, you will know how to identify opportunities, organise competing priorities and translate a plan into measurable progress.

We are looking for a compassionate, authentic leader who communicates clearly, develops others and earns trust. You will be comfortable influencing families, professionals and colleagues at every level, with the confidence to lead change while keeping residents at the heart of your decisions.
