Home Manager Job Opportunity | Parkfield House Care Home, 39 beds | Uxbridge
Up to £70,000 per annum + Annual Bonus + Private Medical Insurance
Parkfield House needs an experienced Home Manager who can build on its Good CQC rating, develop the team and strengthen the home’s performance. This is an opportunity for a visible, hands-on leader who combines sound clinical oversight with commercial judgement and a commitment to person-centred care.
Our characterful, homely 39-bed service provides residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. With refurbishment planned and organisational investment in staffing, training and resources, you will help shape the home’s next stage while protecting the quality of residents’ daily experience.
Your priorities will include sustaining care standards, reducing reliance on agency staff and growing occupancy through strong relationships with families and the local community.
Contract
- Up to £70,000 per annum
- Opportunity to earn up to 40% of salary through an annual bonus
- Private Medical Insurance

- 5.6 weeks’ annual leave

The Role
You will lead the day-to-day operation of Parkfield House, making sure residents receive safe, person-centred care and colleagues understand the standards expected of them. Working with senior leadership and quality teams, you will strengthen accountability, develop your team and deliver improvement that lasts.

- Maintain the home’s Good CQC standards and strengthen governance and quality assurance.
- Coach the Deputy Manager and heads of department, building confidence and leadership capability.
- Improve recruitment, retention and workforce planning to reduce agency usage.
- Grow occupancy and strengthen the home’s local reputation, including relationships with privately funded residents and their families.
- Build constructive relationships with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and regulators.
- Manage budgets and support the planned refurbishment, maintaining continuity of care throughout.
About You
You will be an experienced Home Manager with at least three years’ management experience and a proven record of delivering quality care and regulatory compliance. Experience managing a residential or nursing service, developing teams and leading quality improvement is highly desirable.
- A Registered Nurse qualification, preferably RGN, would be desirable.
- You will bring the knowledge and judgement to oversee nursing care, alongside strong commercial awareness across occupancy, budgets and staffing.
We are looking for an approachable, resilient leader who is present in the home and follows through on commitments. You set clear expectations, support colleagues to improve and build confidence with residents and families.
