Care Home Manager (Nursing)
Norwich, Norfolk
£65,000 per year depending on experience
Lead a well-established nursing home in Norwich with strong operational support. Clear route to achieving Outstanding CQC outcomes and commercial success. Autonomy to shape culture, quality, and occupancy. Work with an experienced senior team and central functions.
The role
Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Care Home Manager (Nursing) on behalf of a reputable care provider. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running and long-term success of the service.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and drive continuous improvement towards Outstanding ratings
- Manage budgets effectively, balancing quality care with strong financial performance
- Maintain high occupancy through proactive marketing, community engagement, and relationship building
- Work closely with operations and central support teams to deliver consistent standards
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, families, and external professionals
- As a Care Home Manager (Nursing), you will be instrumental in setting the tone, culture, and performance of the home.

Skills and experience
We are looking for an experienced Care Home Manager (Nursing) or a strong Deputy ready to step up.
- Proven background in managing a nursing or residential care setting
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and inspection processes
- Commercial awareness with a track record of achieving occupancy and financial targets
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust with residents, families, and stakeholders
- An NMC registration is desirable but not essential for this Care Home Manager (Nursing) position.
