Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Strengthen governance and quality assurance, preparing the home for CQC inspection.
  • Coach the Deputy Manager and wider team through clear expectations and consistent support.
  • Build trust with colleagues, supporting retention and a settled team culture.
  • Plan recruitment and staffing alongside occupancy growth, matching admissions to the home’s capacity to provide safe care.
  • Improve rostering, manage budgets and reduce reliance on agency staff.
  • Build on relationships with families, commissioners and community partners, strengthening the home’s local presence.

About You

You will have at least five years’ experience managing nursing homes, including nursing and dementia services, with a proven record of strong regulatory outcomes and quality improvement. Experience of commissioning or developing a growing home is highly desirable.

A nursing qualification is not essential. You must bring the knowledge and judgement to oversee a nursing service effectively, alongside strong commercial and workforce planning skills.

We are looking for a personable, thoughtful leader who listens and follows through. You are systematic, confident in addressing gaps and willing to share your knowledge. You understand that trust is earned through consistency and are ready to provide lasting leadership stability.
