Home Manager | Luxury Elderly Nursing, Dementia & Residential Care Home
Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Salary: £75,000 per annum + Up to 20% Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Home Manager looking to inherit a high-performing care home rather than a turnaround? Do you thrive on developing people, maintaining exceptional quality standards and driving commercial success? Would you like to join one of the UK's most respected elderly care providers, offering genuine career progression and an unrivalled operational support network?
Then this could be the opportunity for you! We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established national elderly care provider to appoint a Home Manager for one of their flagship luxury care homes in the West Midlands.
This is a genuine succession opportunity following the internal promotion of the existing Home Manager, demonstrating the provider's commitment to recognising and developing exceptional leaders from within.
Unlike many Home Manager opportunities currently available, this is not a turnaround position. The successful candidate will inherit a stable, commercially successful and highly regarded service with an experienced leadership team already in place.
Our client has an outstanding reputation for delivering premium Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care and continues to invest heavily in both its homes and its people. With an extensive national portfolio and a strong operational infrastructure, Home Managers are empowered with the resources and support required to deliver outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities

- Maintain excellent CQC compliance and governance standards.
- Drive occupancy, resident satisfaction and commercial performance.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
- Promote a positive, resident-focused culture throughout the home.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
