Home Manager | Nursing & Residential Care
Launceston area, Cornwall
Salary: Up to £65,000 + bonus & excellent benefits
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (NMC PIN) preferred; experienced non-nurse Home Managers with a strong nursing home background will be considered
- Proven Home Manager experience within a nursing setting
- Strong grasp of CQC compliance, clinical governance and inspection readiness
- Commercially confident across occupancy, and workforce planning
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
The Role
Compass Associates are working in partnership on a search for an incoming Home Manager on behalf of a highly respected elderly care provider.
This is a key leadership appointment within a well-invested nursing and residential service. The successful candidate will take full ownership of quality, compliance, workforce and commercial performance. They will be supported by an experienced central support team.

Candidate
We are seeking an experienced, values-driven Home Manager ready to commit to a service for the long term.
You will bring clinical credibility, or strong governance oversight if non-nurse, alongside the leadership presence to build a loyal, settled team. You will use data to drive decisions, grow occupancy and admissions, and build trusted relationships with residents, families and commissioners.
A track record of stabilising a service, delivering strong commercial performance and sustaining Good outcomes will be central. Above all, you will be motivated by purpose and by the lasting difference consistent leadership makes to residents and colleagues.

Interview Process

Location
On-site at the home, Launceston area. Commutable from Plymouth, Tavistock, Okehampton, Bude, Liskeard and Bodmin.
