Full-time | Permanent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Pinar Care is seeking an experienced and values-driven Registered Home Manager to lead the opening and ongoing development of a new 63-bed residential care home in Macclesfield.

The home will provide specialist support for older people with complex dementia, older persons’ mental health needs and learning disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new service from the outset, recruit and develop the staff team and establish a positive culture focused on quality, dignity and truly person-centred care.

The role

Working closely with the Managing Director and wider support teams, you will lead the home through its pre-opening and mobilisation stages before taking overall responsibility for its safe, effective and commercially sustainable operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the mobilisation and operational readiness of the new home
  • Supporting CQC registration and ensuring the service is fully prepared to welcome residents
  • Recruiting, inducting and developing the care, administration, activities, catering, housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Establishing effective care, quality, safeguarding, staffing and governance systems
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and accountable culture from the outset
  • Ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred support
  • Maintaining high standards of complex dementia, older persons’ mental health and learning-disability care
  • Ensuring appropriate application of safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
  • Maintaining appropriate staffing levels and developing a skilled, stable and engaged workforce
  • Leading quality assurance, audits, incident reviews and continuous improvement
  • Managing budgets, staffing costs, agency use, occupancy and operational performance
  • Overseeing safe assessments and admissions as the home’s occupancy develops
  • Building effective relationships with residents, families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and external agencies
  • Participating in the management on-call rota

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
