About the role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Account Director to lead one of our most important regional Foodservice customer relationships. This role is responsible for developing and executing long-term account strategies, accelerating profitable growth across multiple markets and brands, and building trusted partnerships with senior customer stakeholders.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, commercial excellence, innovation leadership, and strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable growth and strengthen Kerry's position as a valued strategic partner.
Home office is possible (UK or France).
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategic account plan aligned to customer priorities, driving sustainable business expansion across multiple international markets and brands.
- Influence senior customer stakeholders and franchise markets to strengthen strategic partnerships, shape category strategies, and unlock growth opportunities across both direct and indirect categories.
- Lead complex annual contract negotiations and RFP processes across multiple product categories.
- Champion a customer-first culture, driving best-in-class customer engagement and continuous improvement in partnership performance, as measured through Net Promoter Score (NPS) results.
- Deliver annual growth, profitability and forecasting commitments through robust commercial planning and pipeline management.
- Lead and align cross-functional teams across R&D, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial functions to deliver customer commitments and strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications and skills
- Solid proven experience in account management roles within the Foodservice industry
- Business Degree or equivalent as a minimum
- Experience of managing Regional Strategic Growth accounts essential
- Demonstrated ability to understand competitive and marketplace knowledge and translate into an effective strategy and action plan to deliver a customer.
- Must be capable of independently developing a strategy, influencing others, and increasing contribution.
- Proven track record of delivering profitable & sustainable growth with a value creation mindset
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Demonstrated negotiation and analytical skills
- Solutions focused and committed to delivering best in class customer experience
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines and resilience to adapt when challenges arise
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a passion for teamwork
- Skilled at building and managing multiple relationships, internally and with the customer
- Willingness to travel regularly (60%) as part of the role
