Ready to take ownership of your own portfolio and become a trusted lending expert?
As a Home Ownership Manager at ASB, you'll play a key role in helping customers achieve their home ownership aspirations, from first-home buyers through to customers with more complex lending needs.
Based at our Wairau Park branch, you'll work with an established customer base while building strong referral networks and developing long-term relationships that create great outcomes for both customers and the business.
This is a relationship-led role where your ability to connect with customers, understand their goals, and provide tailored lending solutions will set you apart.
What you'll be doing
- Owning and managing a pipeline of home lending opportunities
- Building and growing a portfolio of customers through exceptional service and trusted advice
- Supporting customers through every stage of the lending journey
- Having meaningful financial conversations that look beyond the immediate lending need
- Working closely with branch teams and referral partners to identify new opportunities
- Delivering strong and sustainable customer outcomes while managing lending risk
- Building long-term relationships that generate repeat and referral business

What you'll bring | Ō pūkenga
You may already be working in banking, lending, mobile mortgage advising, financial services, or a broker environment and be looking for your next opportunity.
We're Looking For Someone Who Brings
- Proven home lending experience and a strong understanding of lending products
- Knowledge of responsible lending, risk and regulatory requirements
- Confidence to lead customer conversations and provide tailored lending solutions
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to earn trust quickly
- A proactive approach to managing opportunities and growing a pipeline
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A genuine passion for helping customers achieve their financial goals
