Home School Link Worker

We are seeking to appoint a Home School Link Worker to join our Pastoral Team. We are looking for a resilient, reliable and supportive individual who will support us to deliver a high-quality education provision to our pupils. You will need excellent communication skills because you will become the bridge between our KS4 pupils’ families and school, therapists and other professionals.

Your Opportunity

The role will include being proactive in seeking support for our families in relation to school and the wider community. You will join the KS4 attendance team as well as lead Early Help Assessments (EHA), attend Team Around the Family (TAF) and Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) Annual Review Meetings.

There will be a requirement to carry out home visits to support families and children and to work on your own as and when this is necessary.

The successful candidates will complement the team at our school, demonstrate a commitment to learning and enjoy working with children of all abilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
