Home Visits Optometrist - Scotland 1

Domiciliary Optometrist – Specsavers

A household name and a home visits pioneer. You could be part of the team.

We’re looking for a hard-working, passionate Domiciliary Optometrist ready to provide our customers who can’t make it into our stores with the best eyecare in the business. You’ll join a community-focused team helping deliver high-standard clinical care and customer service to meet both patient needs and business objectives. So, as long as you are a qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist, whoever you are, you can make a difference here.

Our business

As a Home Visits Optometrist, you’ll have the opportunity to work across some of Scotland’s most scenic locations. Areas include:

  • Fife
  • St Andrews
  • Dundee
  • Arbroath
  • Blairgowrie
  • Forfar
  • Perth

Every day brings a new and inspiring backdrop—from the internationally renowned St Andrews golf course to the picturesque coastal routes of Fife, and the culturally rich city of Dundee. While making a meaningful difference within local communities, you’ll support patients who are unable to access services outside their own homes, delivering personalised care where it matters most.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
