Shift Pattern: Mondays, 11am - 5pm

Full Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate Female Carer / Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with a range of health conditions and care needs within their own homes. This role focuses on delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, comfort, and wellbeing while ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  • Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, continence care, and oral hygiene.
  • Support individuals with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and the safe use of mobility equipment.
  • Prepare meals and drinks while supporting individuals with nutrition and hydration requirements.
  • Prompt or administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
  • Carry out routine health observations where required and accurately report any concerns.
  • Encourage independence by supporting service users to participate in daily routines and personal goals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.
  • Escort individuals to appointments, social activities, and community outings when required.
  • Maintain accurate care records, daily notes, medication records, and incident reports.

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Minimum 6 months' recent UK care experience.
  • Experience working as a Carer, Healthcare Assistant (HCA), or Support Worker on complex care packages.
  • Caring, compassionate, and reliable with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
