Hospice Aide (CNA)
As a Hospice Aide (CNA) you will be providing individualized Hospice care to bring safety and comfort to patients. You will have independence in the field to visit patients one on one in their homes. We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry and someone who is able to constantly travel within a geographic area serviced by our office from assignment to assignment.
Hours:
Full-time | Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm | No Weekends or holidays!
Territory:
This position will work in the field helping patients in their home setting. Our office is in Roseville, MN and the general territory for this position would be in the West Twin Cities Metro area.
Pay and Benefits:
- $21.02 - $25.06 per hour

Must-Haves for this Position:
- Must be active and in good standing on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry
- One year experience as a Home Health Aide.
- Able to travel within geographic area serviced by the office. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Hospice experience preferred.
Functions of a Hospice Aide:
- Provides services as stated in each patient’s Hospice Aide care plan.
- Assists patients/families in safely performing activities of daily living.
- Assigned duties may include but are not limited to:
- Providing personal care: bathing, oral care, hair care and skin care.
- Assisting in dressing and undressing patients.
- Planning and preparing meals.
- Assisting in feeding the patient.
- Changing incontinent products.
- Taking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
- Assisting in ambulation, transfers and/or range of motion exercises.
- Keeping the patient's immediate living area clean and orderly: dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, washing clothes/linens.
- Offering and assisting with bedpans and urinals.
- Completes accurate and timely documentation of patient/family services provided.
