About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who has extensive administrative experience allied with knowledge and operational experience of working within within an NHS or similar healthcare environment.

This is a varied role that requires the individual to have excellent communication and writing skills. They will also be able to manage competing workloads and ensure the smooth operational running of the hospice.

They will provide support to the Assistant General Manager, Admin Team Leader, and the wider administrative team as and when required.

This is a challenging role and would suit someone able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment on their own initiative with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Function as key operational support for the Specialist Palliative Care Service (SPCS) based in Meadow House Hospice.
  • Ensure and safeguard the day-to-day running of the service as well as troubleshooting any operational issues that may affect service delivery.
  • Support essential procurement processes as directed by the Admin Team and Assistant General Manager.
  • Liaison with the following teams:
    • Estates & Facilities team
    • Charities team
    • Finance team
    • Procurement Services
